The Benefits of Flatbed Towing in Flat Rock, MI

Flatbed towing has become increasingly popular among vehicle owners in Flat Rock, MI, due to its numerous advantages over traditional towing methods. When you choose Boulevard Trumbull Tow for your flatbed towing needs, you can rest assured that your vehicle will be transported safely and efficiently.

One of the most significant benefits of flatbed towing is the reduced risk of damage to your vehicle. Unlike traditional towing methods that rely on hooks and chains, flatbed towing involves loading the entire vehicle onto a flat, level surface. This approach eliminates the potential for scratches, dents, or other damage during towing. Flatbed tow trucks are also equipped with state-of-the-art securing systems that keep your vehicle stable and secure throughout the journey.

Another advantage of flatbed towing is its versatility. At Boulevard Trumbull Tow, our flatbed tow trucks can handle many vehicles, from compact cars to large SUVs and motorcycles. This adaptability ensures that we can provide reliable towing services to all our clients in Flat Rock, MI, regardless of their vehicle type. Furthermore, the quick loading and unloading process associated with flatbed towing means that we can respond to your towing needs promptly and efficiently.

When to Choose Flatbed Towing in Wayne County

While flatbed towing is an excellent choice for various situations, there are certain instances where it is especially recommended. If you are in any of the following scenarios in Wayne County, don’t hesitate to contact Boulevard Trumbull Tow for professional flatbed towing services.

Firstly, if your vehicle has been involved in an accident in Flat Rock, MI, flatbed towing is the safest way to transport it to a repair shop or another location. The secure nature of flatbed towing ensures that your vehicle won’t sustain any additional damage during the towing process, which is crucial following an accident. Moreover, if your vehicle is no longer drivable, flatbed towing is often the only viable option for safely transporting it.

Secondly, flatbed towing is the go-to choice for vehicles with all-wheel drive (AWD) systems. These vehicles require all four wheels to be off the ground during towing to prevent damage to the drivetrain. At Boulevard Trumbull Tow, our flatbed tow trucks are ideally suited for handling AWD vehicles in Flat Rock, MI, guaranteeing that your vehicle’s complex drivetrain remains intact during the towing process. Similarly, suppose you own a luxury or classic car. In that case, flatbed towing provides the gentlest method of transport, ensuring that your prized possession arrives at its destination in Wayne County without any issues.

Lastly, flatbed towing is the most secure and efficient option available if you need to tow your vehicle over a long distance. Long-distance towing can be particularly stressful for your vehicle. Still, with flatbed towing, you can have peace of mind knowing that your vehicle is being transported in the safest manner possible. Boulevard Trumbull Tow offers reliable long-distance flatbed towing services to clients throughout Flat Rock, MI, and beyond, so you can count on us to get your vehicle where it needs to go, no matter the distance.

Have a question?

Flat Rock began as a Wyandot settlement. It was later designated as a reservation for the Wyandot, and still functioned as such in 1830.

The first European-American settlers in Flat Rock were Michael Vreeland and his five grown sons between 1811 and 1820. Vreeland had been captured by British Rangers during the Revolutionary War and released after American independence. The family purchased 800 acres (3.2 km2). The town was called the “Village of Vreeland” until 1838, when the Vreeland family sold off most of the land and relinquished control of the area. The Vreeland families built the first grain and lumber mill, having brought the grinding stones from New York. Descendants of Michael Vreeland still live in the town and attend Flat Rock public schools, being the seventh generation to reside in the town their family founded.

The first mention of any settlers in the area later to become Flat Rock was made by a French priest, Father Jean Dilhet. In describing his parish in 1798 he included “Grosse Roche”, referring to a settlement named after the outcropping of limestone rock on the south side of the Huron River.
